Jev for Sheets — Terms of Use

Jev for Sheets is provided by Dave Bredesen as an independent integration. It is not an official product of Google or TypeSafe AI. Contact: dbredesen@gmail.com.

Service and third-party accounts

The software adds formula functions that send the inputs you supply to TypeSafe AI for processing. You must have a valid TypeSafe API key and comply with the terms applicable to your Google and TypeSafe accounts. The add-on has no fee. TypeSafe may charge separately for API usage; its pricing, limits, and availability are outside this project's control.

Connecting a key to a spreadsheet allows collaborators' Jev formulas in that spreadsheet to use the connected account. You are responsible for deciding who can use your spreadsheet, for authorizing the data sent, and for monitoring API usage. Recalculation and manual refresh can make additional API requests.

Appropriate use and results

Use the software only with data and accounts you are authorized to use. Do not use it to violate others' rights or applicable law, or to circumvent provider restrictions. AI judgments may be incorrect or change over time. You are responsible for reviewing results and deciding whether they are suitable for your purpose. The software does not guarantee the accuracy of classifications, scores, or probability estimates.

Availability and warranty

Google Apps Script quotas, TypeSafe availability, account permissions, and service changes can affect operation. No uninterrupted availability, support response time, or compatibility guarantee is offered. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the software is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Privacy and ending use

Read the privacy policy for data processing and deletion details. You may stop using the software at any time. Disconnect spreadsheets, remove saved keys, and revoke your TypeSafe key as needed; uninstalling alone does not revoke a third-party key or erase spreadsheet results.

These terms do not grant rights to Google or TypeSafe services or trademarks. The developer may update or discontinue the integration; updated terms will be published with a revised date.
